Roe vs. Wade became the law of the land in a 7-2 Supreme Court decision on Jan. 22, 1973. No vote was EVER cast n Congress to make abortion legal.
Since then, over 65 million babies have died from surgical abortions. This statistic does NOT include abortions caused by the abortion pill, RU 486.
This count also does not include the untold millions killed by abortifacients, such as the birth control pill and IUD's since the approval of the birth control pill in 1962.
We estimate at least 330 million babies have been murdered by abortion. 329.5 million is the population in the US today!
What if Christians prayed year-round at abortion centers all over the nation?
Would abortion centers close?
Would babies' lives be saved?
Would women be saved from the emotional, mental, spiritual and even physical pain of abortion?
We have elected prolife candidates, yet many reverse their positions once elected. We have passed prolife laws, yet many of them are reversed when the next administration is elected.
Please read and share this website and learn how you can help to END ABORTION for this generation.
We are a ministry challenging pastors and their
congregations to pray regularly at the abortion center nearest to their church until the abortion center closes.
King Josiah was one of only two kings in the Old Testament who tore down the High Places where babies and children were sacrificed on altars Molceh. The abortion centers today are no different from the High Places in Israel. God judged Israel for the High Places. IIChronicles 34:1-7
Where is the PUBLIC OUTCRY from the Church in regard to the killing of innocent life?
Ez.22:30 I looked for someone to stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land...so I do not have to destroy it, but found not one.
In 2011, several Evangelical Christians participated in the international ministry 40 Days for Life in Fairfax, Virginia. 40 DFL holds prayer vigils in front of abortion centers for 40 days during Lent and again for 40 days in September and October. This bi-annual event has resulted in the closing of over 100 abortion facilities and has saved over 17,000 lives! Repentance and fasting are also essential components of the ministry.
Answers to Prayer (2015)
After praying weekly in front of the largest abortion facility in Virginia, several Evangelicals and Catholics decided to pray weekly for 52 weeks until the abortion center in Fairfax closed. Two years later, the owner of the large building complex took the abortion center to court and shut them down on the grounds that they were a nuisance to the other businesses in the building. This abortion center averaged 300 abortions per month (3600/year) in the years before it closed.
Answers to Prayer (2017)
Several of us joined an ongoing prayer vigil at the abortion center nearby in the city of Manassas and others prayed in nearby Falls Church. Two years later, the abortion center in Manassas, which had been in operation for 25 years, closed its door and that office space was taken over by Catholic Charities! This abortion facility averaged 200 abortions per month or 2400 aboritons per year in the latest years before it closed!
Answers to Prayer (2018)
We joined in year-round prayer with others in Falls Church, during which time two other abortion centers in Falls Church also closed. At that point, we started Project Josiah. Our purpose is to challenge the Evangelical churches throughout Virginia, to adopt an abortion facility in prayer, both publicly and privately until the abortion facility closes.
While we applaud the great success of the 40 Days for Life vigils, we think if the EVANGELICAL Church would join in praying year-round, far more than 100 abortion centers could close in 10 years. We need to make the idea of an abortion center in a neighborhood abhorrent! While 40 Days for Life is open to all Christians, the movement has not influenced the Evangelical churches. It's been almost 50 years since Roe, and well beyond time for the Evangelical Church to step up!
Why the Name Project Josiah?
King Josiah was one of only two kings in the Old Testament who tore down the High Places. These were the altars of Ba'al worship, where the Israelites joined with pagan nations to offer their children in sacrifice.
Jeremiah said of the High Places in his day, "They have filled this place with the blood of the innocents, they have built the high places of Ba'al, which I did not command or speak, nor did it come into my mind." The prophet warned, "I will make this place desolate and a hissing; everyone who passes by will be astonished." (Jeremiah 19:4-8)
When the leaders lead the people will follow. We are calling pastors to lead their flocks by example in praying at the nearest abortion center. Visit www.americasblackroberegiment.us for information on reasons pastors need to engage personally in ending abortion. Encourage your pastor to promote this endeavor from the pulpit, on social media, and church publicity. If the pastor prays in front of the abortion center, the people of the church members will follow suit.

In your own words pray:
There are many scriptures you can pray. These are just a few to get you started. The Word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. (Hebrew 4:12)The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. (2 Cor.10:4, Isaiah 43:7)
